ETHSofia is set to bring the blockchain community together in Sofia for Bulgaria’s first major Ethereum and altcoins event. Taking place from 17-19 October at Sofia Tech Park, this conference and hackathon will put Bulgaria on the map for blockchain innovation.
Just one month before the event, ETHSofia has announced an impressive lineup of speakers and new partnerships, making it a must-attend gathering for anyone interested in the future of web3 and Ethereum.
The event will kick off with a three-day hackathon, followed by a two-day conference packed with speakers from all corners of the blockchain space. Attendees can expect to hear from some big names, including Lyn Alden, founder of Lyn Alden Investment Strategy; Michael Bentley, co-founder of Euler Labs; and Eleonor Genova, Nexo’s Head of Communications.
Other notable speakers include blockchain experts from Chainbase, Zerion, and even Dr. Jonathan Galea from BCAS, all of whom will share their insights on everything from decentralised finance to tech innovation.
ETHSofia has also partnered with three industry giants as Platinum Sponsors: Binance, MANTRA, and THORChain. This marks a first for an Ethereum event in the region to have the backing of Binance.
Alongside Binance France CEO David Prinçay, attendees will hear from John Patrick Mullin, co-founder of MANTRA, and JP Thor, founder of THORChain. The event has also attracted Euler, SSV, and Bitomat, a crypto ATM provider that will enable 0-fee ETH purchases and withdrawals on-site.
For those keen on building, the ETHSofia hackathon offers a chance to get hands-on. With the support of THORChain, Euler, and Sui, along with a $15,000 prize pool, developers can dive into creating the next wave of blockchain tech.
